Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using mybizmate.io (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using mybizmate.io on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on their behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

mybizmate.io is online bookkeeping and tax-preparation software for businesses, professionals, and accountants in the Philippines. It helps you record transactions, keep a double-entry general ledger, compute VAT and withholding tax, and assemble reports and tax returns for the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

mybizmate.io is a tool. It is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice, and using it does not create an accountant–client relationship between you and mybizmate.io. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your records and for your own tax filings and payments.

You need an account to use most of mybizmate.io. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your password secure, and to be responsible for the activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use mybizmate.io.

You agree to use mybizmate.io only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You agree not to:

• break the law, or use mybizmate.io to record or facilitate fraudulent or illegal transactions;
• access another company's data, attempt to bypass our access controls, or probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without our written permission;
• disrupt or overload the Service, or interfere with other users' use of it; or
• copy, resell, or redistribute the Service, or reverse-engineer it except to the extent the law allows.

You own the data you put into mybizmate.io — your transactions, master data, attachments, and reports (“Your Content”). You grant us only the limited rights we need to host, process, back up, and display Your Content so that we can provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content and for keeping your own copies of anything important. How we handle Your Content is described in our Privacy Policy.

mybizmate.io offers a free plan, a 7-day full-access trial for new accounts, and paid subscription plans. The free plan has no time limit; per calendar month (Philippine time) it includes up to 30 posted transactions, 15 Excel or PDF file downloads, 25 new customers or suppliers and 3 imports, across 1 company and 2 team members. It excludes tax return filing packs, document scanning, and adding or changing branches and chart-of-accounts entries, except that adding a bank account still creates and maintains its own chart entry. A free company keeps, and can post to, every account and branch it already has. We may change the free plan's limits with notice on our website. Pricing for paid plans is shown on our website and is in Philippine pesos. Paid plans renew for the period you choose until you cancel. When your trial or a paid plan ends, your data stays intact and you choose what happens next: a paid plan, or the free plan. Until you choose, your companies are read-only — you can still open, read and report on everything in them without limit, and download files within the monthly allowance above, and nothing is deleted.

If your account has more than 1 company when it moves to the free plan, you keep one of them fully usable and the rest become read-only. Read-only means you can still open, read, report on and export from them within the monthly allowance above; you cannot add or change entries until you upgrade. Nothing is deleted, and you choose which one stays usable by setting your home company in the app.

Unless required by law or stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable. We may change our prices, and we will give you reasonable notice before a change affects your renewal.

mybizmate.io helps you prepare books and BIR forms, but you — together with your accountant or tax agent — are solely responsible for reviewing them, filing on time, and paying the correct taxes. mybizmate.io is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Bureau of Internal Revenue or any government agency. We do not guarantee that any output will be accepted by the BIR or that it reflects the latest regulations.

We work to keep mybizmate.io available and reliable, but we provide it “as is” and cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend the Service for maintenance. If we plan to discontinue a material part of the Service, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

mybizmate.io, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks or to the Service itself beyond the right to use it as described here.

You can stop using mybizmate.io and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. After termination you may lose access to Your Content, so please export anything you need first; we may retain or delete data as described in our Privacy Policy and as the law requires.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, mybizmate.io is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data, or tax penalties, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use mybizmate.io after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes arising from them or from your use of the Service are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
